Cookie Policy
What we do not use
- No cookies of any kind — not analytics, not advertising, not "necessary" ones.
- No Meta Pixel or any advertising tracker. Google Analytics only with your consent (see below).
- No third-party fonts, scripts, maps, videos or embeds. Our fonts come from your own device, and our images are built into the page.
- No cross-site tracking, fingerprinting or profiling, and we do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
What the site does store
Your browser may keep one small item of local storage on your own device to remember whether you chose English or Japanese. It never leaves your device, is not a cookie, is not sent to us, and contains nothing that identifies you. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Optional analytics (only if you accept)
We may use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, United States) to count visits and form submissions so we can improve the site. It is off until you click Accept on the banner, and then it sets Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) for up to two years. Click Decline and nothing is set. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
When you contact us
Our forms send your answers directly to our own Google account and set no cookies. Those providers may set their own cookies on their own systems; they are not set by this website. We ask for your consent before you submit, and our Privacy Policy explains this in detail.
Why this matters legally
Japan's Telecommunications Business Act requires disclosure before transmitting user information to outside parties, and the EU's ePrivacy rules require consent before storing non-essential cookies. We avoid both problems by not using cookies or third-party resources on our public pages. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for consent first.
