How much does YouTube channel management cost in Japan? (2026)

YouTube channel management (YouTube運用代行) is priced very differently from one company to the next. Here is how the market breaks down, what you are actually paying for, and how to compare offers fairly.

Typical price ranges in 2026

Published Japanese price guides in 2026 put the market roughly here, per month:

Editing onlyabout ¥50,000–150,000
Consulting only (you produce, they advise)about ¥200,000–500,000
Full service (research, planning, scripting, editing, thumbnails, publishing, analysis)about ¥400,000–1,000,000+
Premium full supportabout ¥700,000–1,000,000

The spread is wide because "運用代行" can mean anything from cutting your footage to running the whole channel as a business system.

What actually drives the price

Six questions to ask before you sign

  1. Who researches the topics, and can you show me the evidence for each one?
  2. Who reviews every script and edit before it goes live?
  3. Will you report enquiries and sales, or only views and subscribers?
  4. Is there a minimum term, and what is the notice period?
  5. Do I own the channel, the files and the footage?
  6. Do you ever use bought views, bots or engagement groups? (The only acceptable answer is no.)

The simple test

If one new customer is worth more to you than a month of fees, a full-service engagement can pay for itself with a handful of the right viewers. If it is not, start with consulting or an audit, not a retainer.

Our own prices are fixed and published in our Legal Notice, so you can compare them with anyone else's.
